ABOUT FYFEDAWG (David Fyfe)

In four short years in the Film and Media program at Humber College, I turned my burning curiosity for filmmaking into a promising career.  I discovered a natural talent for editing that coincides with my love for music, a strong leadership skill set unleashed by an undying passion for the project at hand, and a work ethic that allows for the impossible. I thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and am able to find the most logical solution to the problem at hand.

I’ve created my own brand and have found steady work in expanding my portfolio with corporate videos, music videos, documentaries, and shorts. I have interned at LAC Productions in Toronto and the award-winning Green Planet Productions in California. Aside from owning my own semi-pro Sony NX5, I am well versed with Final Cut Pro, AfterEffects, AVID, ProTools. But most importantly, I’m a very fast learner.

My ongoing goal is to find an enthusiasm for every project, and in this regard, I have yet to fail.  There is a learning curve with anything we do in life, so my best selling point is that I approach everything with a willingness to learn and expand.
